Blood Donation Society Report

Aim:

1. To raise the awareness among people that individuals can save lives and improve the health of others by donating blood.
2. To save lives of others while protecting individuals own health and inspiring others for the same.
3. To encourage and educate people to donate blood voluntarily without any payment and compensation.
4. To support the process of dependable, reliable and safe blood services.

Objectives:

1. To create awareness and motivate individuals to donate blood.
2. To constantly organize blood donation camps.
3. To build wide public awareness of the requirement of regular donation of blood to maintain sufficient supply of blood for all needed.
4. To encourage new individuals to donate their blood on voluntary basis.
5. To help anybody in case of any necessity of blood.
6. To encourage existing donors to donate blood regularly.
7. To end the idea of replacement donation by making sure regular supply of blood in Govt. blood banks through volunteer blood donation.

 Importance:

It gives donor a free medical check-up and satisfaction of helping others. Blood donation is important because maintaining a regular supply of blood in our community secures blood transfusion for patients. Blood donation can maintain the Iron levels, excess iron level may lead to cardiovascular disease. Above all it saves lives.
