One day Faculty Development Programme on Quality Promulgate for Quality Initiatives was today concluded at the Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College,Bela Roopnagar. Resource persons were from experienced professors who motivated faculty to do action research.

During the Inaugration ceremony, S.Devinder Singh Jattana,Secretary Managing Committe welcomed the faculty members from different colleges and universities. 62 teachers participants learned different techniques of evaluation and motivation taught by Dr. Sunil Dutt, Prof. Incharge Academic Cell, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research. Dr. Bhattacharya former director NITTTR Kolkata explained that the illiterate of tomorrow will not be those who are not able to read or write, But those Who are not prepared to learn. So, a teacher is to be a continuous self learner He asked to convert this wonderful teaching institution into a learning organization where both teachers and students alike are in search of new knowledge.

S. Devinder Singh Jattana expressed his concern over the quality of teacher education in various colleges. He also appreciated the Initiative taken by the faculty to organise this programmes for various Institutes .He said the faculty from the colleges would definitely be benefited by the programme Coordinator of the programme Prof. Mamta Arora thanked all the participants.Prof. Surmukh Singh,Prof. Satwant Kaur Shahi,Dr. Baljeet Singh,Prof. Amrita Sandhu also interacted with faculty from other colleges regarding current issues of Quality Education.
